Microsoft Pre-Sales Solution

Job Summary:

As a Microsoft Pre-Sales Solution Specialist, you will be responsible for engaging with clients and prospects to understand their business challenges and demonstrate how Microsoft technologies—such as Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and the Power Platform—can address their needs. You will work closely with sales, technical, and delivery teams to drive successful client engagements and ensure solution alignment with business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with account executives to identify customer opportunities and develop solution strategies.

  • Lead technical discussions and conduct discovery sessions to understand customer goals, requirements, and IT environments.

  • Design and present tailored Microsoft-based solutions using tools like Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Dynamics 365.

  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations, architecture workshops, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and customer presentations.

  • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and other technical queries during the sales process.

  • Stay up to date on Microsoft product offerings, licensing models, and roadmap developments.

  • Liaise with Microsoft and other partners to align on co-selling and joint opportunities.

  • Assist in transitioning deals to post-sales delivery teams, ensuring clear documentation and solution handoff.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field (preferred).

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solution architect, or consultant role.

  • Proven experience with Microsoft technologies (Azure, M365, Dynamics, Power Platform).

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Cloud solutions architecture (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).

  • Hands-on familiarity with Azure services, Microsoft 365 configurations, or Dynamics CRM/ERP.

  • Knowledge of security, identity, and compliance features in Microsoft ecosystems.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills—both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

  • Strong problem-solving and customer engagement skills.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect

  • Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert

Other information:

  • Salary: Above market - can be negotiated

  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days WFH - can be negotiated depending on candidates’ location
