MS Dynamics 365 ERP Technical Lead

Summary:
The D365 F&O Technical Lead will be responsible for leading the technical design, development, and deployment of solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, with a primary focus on Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Manufacturing (MFG) modules. This role requires close collaboration with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and development teams to ensure the delivery of scalable, integrated, and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical architecture design and solution development for D365 F&O implementations.

• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and customizations.

• Develop and review Technical Design Documents (TDD), ensuring alignment with business and functional needs.

• Customize and extend D365 F&O modules including Inventory, Procurement, Production Control, BOM, and Routing using X++, integrations, and extensions.

• Oversee data migration, integrations (including with third-party systems), and reporting using Data Management Framework and Azure services.

• Support user acceptance testing, performance tuning, and environment management.

• Ensure solutions align with ISMS 27001 compliance and internal IT security standards.

• Provide technical leadership to development teams and guide junior developers.

• Collaborate in Agile/DevOps environments to ensure timely delivery and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O technical roles.

• Proven experience with D365 F&O technical architecture, customization, and development using X++.

• Strong experience with SCM and MFG modules: Inventory, Procurement & Sourcing, Production Control, BOM, Routing, Scheduling.

• Proficiency in integrations using OData, custom APIs, Logic Apps, and other Azure services.

• Skilled in Data Management Framework, LCS, and performance monitoring tools.

• Experience in global, multi-legal entity environments.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

• Microsoft Dynamics certifications preferred.

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI), Azure Logic Apps, Data Lake, and Office 365.

• Understanding of third-party ISV integrations.

• Experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps pipelines (Azure DevOps).

• Strong collaboration skills across functional and technical teams.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (MB-300, MB-500) highly desirable.

• MBA (Finance/Operations) or Chartered Accountant is a plus.

Minimum Qualification:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in same role
