IP Medical Coder
Summary:
As a Medical Coder, you will be responsible for reviewing medical records and assigning appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes for patient services. Your role ensures compliance with coding guidelines and regulations. Attention to detail is crucial to accurately translate medical procedures, diagnoses, and treatments into standardized codes. Your work supports healthcare providers in billing, clinical research, and quality improvement initiatives.
Job Description:
Inpatient Coding Certification: CPC/ CIC/ CCA/ CCS-P/ CCS
Knowledgeable in ICD 10-CM & ICD 10- PCS
Qualifications:
At least 3–5 years of experience in operations or business unit management, ideally with full P&L responsibility
Strong background in sales leadership, frontline execution, and strategic implementation
Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage teams across functions
Experience in commercial decision-making (e.g., pricing, resource allocation, growth planning)
Demonstrated and proven success in driving results across operations, sales, and team leadership
Highly organized, analytical, and results-driven
Minimum Qualification:
At least 1 year of experience as Inpatient medical coding
Bachelor's degree in medical records or medical allied field.
Proficient in computer applications.
Advanced understanding of automated encoder systems.
Amenable to work on a dayshift schedule (may change depending on business need)
