MS Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant
We are seeking a skilled and client-focused Dynamics 365 CRM Functional Consultant to join our team. The role is responsible for gathering business requirements, designing functional solutions, and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) applications. You will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring that Dynamics 365 solutions align with organizational objectives and deliver measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering
Engage with clients to understand business processes, challenges, and objectives.
Conduct workshops, interviews, and process mapping sessions to capture requirements.
Translate business needs into functional requirements and solution designs.
Solution Design & Configuration
Design and configure Dynamics 365 CRM modules (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Field Service, Project Operations).
Configure entities, forms, views, dashboards, workflows, business process flows, and security roles.
Define and document functional specifications for integrations, customizations, and reports.
Support solution architecture with data modeling, business rules, and automation strategies.
Implementation & Delivery
Work closely with technical teams to ensure functional requirements are properly translated into technical designs.
Participate in system testing (SIT, UAT) and support users during acceptance and training phases.
Deliver end-user training, documentation, and adoption support.
Ensure solutions follow best practices, governance, and compliance standards.
Client Engagement & Advisory
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them on Dynamics 365 capabilities and best practices.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and solution optimization.
Contribute to RFP/RFI responses, solution proposals, and project scoping.
Qualifications & Skills
Technical & Functional Expertise
Strong functional knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE modules (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Field Service, Project Operations).
Hands-on experience in solution design, configuration, and functional documentation.
Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) for extending CRM functionality.
Understanding of CRM integrations with ERP, portals, and third-party systems.
Knowledge of Dataverse, data migration tools, and data governance.
Business & Consulting Skills
Proven experience as a CRM Functional Consultant, Business Analyst, or similar role.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-mapping skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage business and technical audiences.
Experience in delivering workshops, training, and user adoption initiatives.
Preferred Experience
Microsoft certifications (e.g., MB-210, MB-220, MB-230, MB-240, PL-200).
Prior consulting or system integrator experience.
Industry-specific CRM knowledge (financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, public sector, etc.).
Agile or hybrid project delivery experience.Minimum Qualification:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in same role

Salary: Above market - can be negotiated
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days WFH - can be negotiated depending on candidates’ location)
